all you need is nuts and thermal paste..
i do like the rethreading of the original things, good idea.
i know this sounds kinda dumb, you might wanna check your video cable, make sure its in the right mode, and that its connected and not broke anywhere. are you atleast getting the 4 lights circling around on the console when it powers on??

Ive just completed a hydrid xclamp fix on a xenon after also doing the heatgun trick before hand to try and reflow, however after adjusting screws in the base for about an hour Ive come to the point where its going to get chucked out the window any second. Have any of you luvly people here on xbox scene got any other ideas for me to try. There is power going to the board the dvd tray will eject but nothing for rings of any colour no sound no video, however I was able to connect a controller which now switches the machine on via the middle button but does not regisiter with a ring on the console, the controller just flashes all four rings. If anyone could shed some light on this I would be most grateful thanks.
I can shed some light on this:
You screwed up something.
My guess is the heat gun reflow- those usually dont go well for the vast majority of people that attempt it...
Don't waste any more time on it, it is gone- (assuming you have all of the cables connected properly and such)
But on the upside- Now you have a dedicated power supply for your firmware flashes!

i have to agree... i had a 360 w/no video and im pretty sure that i used the heatgun a little too long... cuz now that 360 DOESN'T turn on anymore and now it is nailed to my wall right next to an xbox1 mobo
there like trophies.. and a PS3 even if broken would NEVER be good enough for my wall!... F SONY in the A!
