I have an xbox which had the 3 RROD, so i decided to do the x-clamp fix. It worked for over 3 months, but now i got the E74 error. I know the solution to the error is the x-clamp fix, but since ive already done that (because of RROD), how am i supposed to fix this.

E74 usually is located to the area from the GPU to HANA/ANA chip. So, You must reflow that area with a heatgun.

overheating should do the same as the heatgun if im correct, so wouldnt i be better off doing that?

yeah, you can try that first, but if doesn't work, means you have to do the HANA/ANA chip etc. as well
