Title: Xbox 360 Hangs On Boot

Hi all,
I got a new 360 a couple of months ago, it is a Jasper unit, and recently it has been hanging when it boots up. It gets to the Xbox 360 symbol and takes a good length of time (20-30 secs) to get to the dash. A couple of time I let it sit there for a couple of minutes and it didn't get to the dash at all. It is not running modded firmware.

Any ideas if this 360 is gonna die?

Propably can't find your TV set. It wait to find your TV signal before starts up. It happens to me too

I don't think that's the case, the 360 is displaying image at this point. It just hangs at the Xbox 360 logo, and then after a while boots the dash.

Can you try to remove hard drive or memory from slot and try to reboot it.
Is there any previous unfinish update attempt? May be from game DVd or online. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

What a load of rubbish, a 360 will boot wether connected to TV or not (with AV plugged in 360 end only)

My friends, there are reported XBOX 360 arcades that do such problem with HDMI cables, it is the HDMI incompatibility issue. Nothing serious, just annoying
