Title: Benq Dvd Drive

my xbox broke and the drive didnt open and it had my game in it so i had to open it and get my game and i was wondering if i fixed the xbox would the dvd drive automatically close and catch back on the gears?

one of the mosfets blew out and it gave me rrod and a red led on the psu

Only way to know is test the drive by using the power from another xbox or a connctive kit and see if it opens and closes and if the firmware dumps.
