Title: E 65 Error Code. Can You Fix It?

i have recently gotten a E 65 error code from my 360 and i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it or knew a guide on fixing this problem.

Ya never said that game started to update the 360, or how far it really did get, just that you popped it in and then bang, that's not very descriptive.

If ya did actually fry the drive by plugging the power cable in upside down they key will have to be extracted from the old drive by removing the SST chip and having it dumped with an external programmer. That's a little more complex and isn't covered in tutorials because ya need a programmer for it (around $50) and for people with Hitachi drives it requires an adapter for that IC (around another $50). Since ya have a Samsung jsut about every programmer comes with the PLCC32 socket built on to it, so you're good there, but if the drive really was fried this is the only way you'll get the key off it to get another drive working with this 360.
