Title: Got 1st Gen Ck3 Probe 1

Hi all

Not been on here in a very very long time (too much time over at XDA Devs lol)

Just bought my son a 360 as hes being eyeing up my backups which are gathering dust atm..

and a lite on 16d2s drive (Lastest firmware on system so i assume drive is updated)

I have the xecutor ck3 board and a probe 1

Can this be altered so that i can extract the key from this drive?

I read some where about fitting a switch??

All help appreciated.

all u have to do is add the switch to the #6 wire in the dvd power cable, use the probe as in, just on the new probing spot.

Yeah, it is dead easy. Just cut the wire that goes to point 6 on the 2 plugs and put a switch on it!

Here's my converted probe v1 which i have successfully dumped heaps of drives with.

So will do switch in a moe

So all i do is connect probe to point mk01 thingy

with 3v on hit phatkey extracts and toggle the power and it should should dump the key?

Take it reads via the sata connection?

Done it

Probe was being stupid so i just did it the bodge way

used a length of solder wrapped on pc case to make the ground and did the usual steps

all worked great

then flashed and tested all fine

got a happy 7 year old now (who thinks hes going to hoard all my backups) (only got about 30 to be fair lol)

Didn't see this post. I take it that the mod on a diygadget probe is similar. As far as I can see the pogo pin is connected to the power cable. I will have to get some pics up of mine. Thanks for all the info. Been a while since I missed mine.
