Hello everyone,
I recently dug up my old xbox 360 and decided I wanted to start playing again. I turned the xbox on and I did not get any video output.
Knowing it was flashed, I decided to try to restore it to its original firmware. However, the drive did not show up in JungleFlasher (nforce 3 chipset, used it before to flash this and other drives).
Now I have a weird situation: when I turn the xbox on with the sata cable connected, it does not give any video output. When I connect another drive, it boots fine (but of course does not play any games etc). It gets weirder: when I boot the xbox with the liteon not connected the xbox turns on. Then, when I plug in the sata cable, the xbox shuts down immediatly.
Does anyone know what my problem is? I have absolutely no idea what is going on and hope someone can help me...
Thanks in advance!
Had the same problem many moons ago, it turned out to be a loose sata pin connector on the main board.you will need to check and reflow/solder the connector.
