Title: Lite-on Mra Trace Question

I am not finding much information in regards to this question:

Do you repair the traces after you have dumped and flashed the drive?

Or

Do you leave the switch in place, and leave the traces disconnected?

Any information would be appreciated.

I had to MRA since I don't have a PMT device/tool.

I reconnected the traces but found it odd none of the guides or tutorials mentioned reparining them..

I built the probe and serial cable but the usb  to serial didn't work. I did this method in 10 mins instead of wasting my time trying to figure out the kinks with the probe.

Do you have a link to a PMT TUT?

MRA trace repair? WHy are you doing that...just do PMT or probe v3 or scorpion. besides mra won't work anymore after certain firmware mod.

well i did that in march 2011. and kept getting FF's through out entire  flash. when magically use pmt it worked.
