having tray half open with the new probe isnt necessary any more but you could give it a go when extracting  key

i was having the same probleme with my liteon  after getting the new update from m$  and forced to flash with the new firmware.

after trying anything possible to get rid of the phat key failed ,

i found that the problem was my switch  connected to the bad wire.

some bad picture of the wire  shema on the net .

be sure to put the switch on the 3.3 v  wire.

that work for me ,   a newbie error  but finally found it.

or just use the MRA method and call that a day

Thanks for your help guys - I am sure I need to get myself a probe 3, so have ordered one in.
