I think its more likely they are trying to create hype and when they do get stock it will go a lot faster and for a higher price.

They ban if and when THEY feel like it. There has not been a ban wave in well over a year but that does not mean they dont already know who is on a list for a future ban wave.
Has nothing to do with c4eva or teamx but rather plain old simple common sense.

What I find amazing is that with all these different firmwares that c4 has put out, No one else has been been able to create their own custom firmware. Its just him, there is no other way right now.
Now your probably gonna say "What about the new x360 key" Well thats based on what ? Yup, c4eva's firmware.
Anyway enough of this crap. Gonna go play my originals till I'm the first one to be playing on my new 0225 slim with backups made possible by c4's firmware and Team x's pcb. Hope its "SAFE" Lol....

i thought that x360 key just needed access to the key not a custom firmware as it emulates the original?

It has to use a custom firmware to bypass the security. And most likely this code will be from c4eva

In a way c4 firmware IS original firmware emulated with patched code to skip or "emulate" security codes so the console thinks all is good when in fact its not.

So how come the xkey developers announced support for the 0401 FW?
I have not come across any kind of CFW based on this OFW, and I highly doubt they have.
Any idea guys?

Notice how they claimed support for 0401 around the time c4 said he was working on his new firmware? I dont think you will see this support until after 4c releases his firmware. Maybe this is what is holding up the release of said product?
