so no one has the key for the new firmware or is it possible to do so yet ????
Ok so I found one of my spare xboxes that i dont ever use which I figured I wouldn't mind sacrificing the ability to sign into live in order to obtain the 1st Beta dashboard version (2.0.13140) that flashes the drive..to clarify, I have the halo reach disc that was given out to beta testers & thats what I used to update. Anyway here's the deal so far about the beta OFW's: you can read them with jungle flasher BUT the drive key is "00000000000000000000000000000000" and the OSIG is literally [].
I had done the same as you with my liteon drive, I assumed that it re-flashed me to the standard OFW so I simply flashed it back to the LT+ CFW..I've had my key saved in a safe place so I never tried to dump it initially. I have extracted the Liteon firmware from the $flash_oddupd(2).xex **pretty sure it was the xex with 2 in it** and Jungle Flasher will not recognize it as a firmware because it is blank.
So from the latest I've read, once you flash your drive back to a CFW from the "new" OFW you've lost it and will have to go without updates until the end of beta or a solution is found..that's what I have to do. But if you're like me and dont have but 1-2 actual game discs I am kind of out of options at this point. Here's an article which might help + a screen shot from my jungle flasher session so u see what I mean:
Retrieve the DVD key from drives affected by the XGD3 beta dashboard
