Title: Jungle Flashe Autoload Problem
Post by: Ranger72 on December 27, 2010, 02:04:00 PM
You put all the latest firmwares in the "firmware" folder and did not rename any of it right?

What version Jungle Flasher do you have? JungleFlasher v0.1.78 (183) is the newest.

I do have the latest JF and downloaded the LT plus firmware from xbins and they are in firmware folder and not in any sub folders either. I will try to go the irc channel and access from there.

Thanks for the quick help.

Just load your original firmware as source and your modified firmware as target. Click "Spoof Source to Target". Problem solved.

I did. Everything is where it is supposed to be. JF is latest and all the firmwares are in the proper folder and unrared.

Was working fine till the LT plus fmw came and since then JF is not doing the autoload properly.

thanks for all the help.

I already told him that back in the second post. But he still seems to think he has the latest version.

I'm with you I think he is using the (182) version.

hi! - got problem flashing hitachi 47DJ with LT 1.1
- dumped the key with old jf but md5 fails when loading lt 1.1 (I renamed it in ix151-47)
- so i dloaded jf 183 but when starting jf got error --> http://img507.images...us/i/jf183.jpg/
- i'm thinking about flashing this drive with the "old but no so different" 1.51
- hints?

Thanks

(this 360 won't go online)

I'd use hitachi expert in a jf that loads for you.

Funny, the rest of us got it from the same place, and haven't had an autoloading issue.
in other words, you're doing it wrong.

NOTE: Modifying this file will have no affect on JungleFlasher!

In other words. I think you should tone down your sarcasm. It doesn't do anyone any good.
Cheers.

thats an old textfile! - must have been left in there by mistake from previous release

We don't host the firmware, so you didn't get it from our website.

The bot in the irc channel serves auto-loadable firmware.

I personally use the bot for grabbing fw when testing on new machines.

You don't need to edit the .txt file. Just download latest LT and LT+ somewhere else (to get the correct files) and JungleFlasher does the trick for you. It works for everybody else. Seriously, if you needed to change the .txt file or the name of the actual files you don't think you would have seen 100 threads about it already?

He's simply not extracting and overwriting the contents of the firmware folder correctly.
User error.
