first off a sammy and a benq can read ap2.5 games
You're mixing 2 issues. Samsung boxes can boot AP25 discs because they just ignore the checks. Boxes with BenQ can boot AP25 discs because the drive CAN read them with LT+.
Spoofing your BenQ is fine for offline but you couldn't go the other way i.e. if your box had a BenQ with a spoofed Samsung the checks would be expected to pass but would actually fail.

and he would of knew that if he justed searched
and i wasnt mixing them i was just stating that both drives can play the games
Not if the original drive was an ap25 enabled drive. Sammy will only work if the board was originally paired with either a sammy or hitachi. Buzzcut is correct.
You have to understand that many people will read this post (not just the thread starter) and think that their sammy will load ap25 games no matter what as long as the have lt 1.0 flashed to it.

That thread says exactly what both Buzz and myself have said. Its over your head, you just dont get it. You're giving bad advice.

exactly so if u researched he wouldnt have posted in the first place
Man, reading skills must be a forgotten art. I bold, underlined AND changed the color of the text of my previous post as to WHY I asked the question in the first place.....

Thank you very much for clearing this up, much appreciated.
Yea, I did know that sammy's ignored the checks, allowing AP2.5 to boot, but I did not know what would happen when swapped with a drive that would actually respond to those checks.
Also, I did get some headway with the reading issues with the sammy, but with no "real" luck. POT adjustment did help in allowing the 360 to see all the games, but they all still failed to boot regardless. Tried POT adjustments from factory (4.34) all they way down to 3.01.
Anyway, My original (primary) question was asked and answered.
Also, cilo911, I did research and if you read through my first post, you would have seen that I knew of sammy's being "safe" from ap2.5 twards the end of my first post.
The reason for the question/post was because I found contradicting posts regarding spoofing drives (I.E. using a drive capable of responding to ap2.5 in place of the original drive that ignored them, like the sammy drives).
