Title: Boot Xbox 360 Without Dvd Drive ?

i would like to boot the xbox 360 without the dvd drive. It boots to xellous when i press the power button without the dvd drive. I put the dvd drive back it and it works like normal. Any ideas?

The latest 'freeboot' (fbbuild 0.1) will always boot to xellous without a DVD drive attached because the system is reporting 'tray open' status when there is no DVD drive attached. However, if you jump pins 6 and 4 on the drive power connector (see here for details: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...9024&st=105 ) it will report as drive tray closed and boot into the dash as normal. It'll also stop the annoying flashing center light (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
