It does look a little like a Sammy, hopefully it won't suffer the same problems like the Sammy does. The stuck drive tray that so many Samsungs end up getting for example.

the stuck tray is an easy fix, take that invisible tape you can get anywhere, cut two swaures, stock one on the magnet/circle washer, stick the second on top of it, cut out the circle with a razor knife so you cant tell the tape is on there. should fix it if its the normal tray stuck and not your gears all jacked up.

from what i've compared...no it's not....its totally different...it seems that it have a lock on each bank I presume, with the mediatek flash than the other one where just the first bank came with a lock which can be unlock using the MRA method and L-o-eras method

It´s not a single flash chip, it´s a microcontroller which gives you read/write access to the flash. What do you mean with the first bank was just locked? MRA just cut off the voltage supply to the internal flash chip so the controller was fooled in thinking the flash is empty and gave write access. After switching back the voltage you were then able to read the firmware. Maybe it´s still the same architecture but I don´t think you are still able to cut off just the power to the SPI or the controller won´t work anymore if you lift a voltage pin. It´s also still the same manufacturer.
