Title: How Put Lt On 1.6?

My original xbox LiteOn was updated with firmware iXtreme 1.6.  Then hooking the system up thru USB so I could pull the key, etc.  I want to install the LT version however curious what is required.    Do I still need to pull out the old computer and do this or can I hook this drive up to any computer's USB connector and flash it with the LT (plus injected key)?
