Title: Liteon 74850 Full Read?
Post by: Braaap17 on February 03, 2010, 09:05:00 PM
How do you get a full read from a stock drive that has never been flashed before?

Since using the regular old way using a probe to get KEY it gives Dummy file but that
don't contain calibration data that is needed for LT?

the mra method works on all liteon drives.  the only thing i do different is i omitted the switch and instead fashioned a probe out of a resistor and a piece of wire.  i solder the wire to a ground point and probe 101 while powering on and intro'ing then remove probe to read.

Ahhh, i knew that was for the later Liteons but thought there would be a way to get a full read from the 74 drives.

Thanks

In JF make sure you do not have the "dummy.bin only" checked off when you are reading the key, otherwise you should get 5 files, serial, identify, inquiry, key, dummy

goodluck

you don't have to worry about what is in the dvdkey tab, he is talking about dumping like you do any other drive.
