Title: Troubles With A Sammy

Hey guys obviously Im new here and I had a question and I hope it hasnt been asked too much ive been searching for a couple days, Anyway my question is I bought a Refurb xbox from gamestop and went ahead and plugged the drive into the computer It a toshiba samsung ms 25 but reads as a ms28 and attempteed to get my key DID NOT WRITE anything and I keep getting all 0s for my key and yes its in vendor mode but the box doesnt play games now it reads them as dvds :/ any help?

did you play any games in it b4 cracking it open?  if not it sounds like someone sold u a piece of crap.  or you did write blank firmware and now u screwed yourself.  either way, sounds like u have a dvd player.
