The scene's credibility (particularly JungleJim, C4E and Iriez because of all of the drama which ensued from Iriez's diatribe) has seriously been damaged because of the lack of open and honest communication between C4E and the rest of the community.
If you want to be trusted, total honesty is a good place to start.
Anyway, I do appreciate the work C4E has done. Although I don't agree with the closed method of his work, I cannot begin to think that I posses the knowledge to do what he's done for so long. Many thanks, sir.

IF they wasnt behind the sale of LT then WHY didnt they update twitter hours and hours ago instead of waiting till a swarm of sales had happended and then it was eventually hacked. Its pretty obvious that it was a short promo with some resellers as a temp thing to earn some cash and then they would release it after it was hacked etc.
Either way though I still sprreciate all work that goes into it and im not saying its a bad thing if it was sold since it would only be n00bs and resellers that was scammed anyway lol

(I wish I waited even longer to update from IX1.4(1?))
Now that there is a bit of an update, I wonder if IX LT is worth updating to since my console is (probably?) flagged and will be banned (loosing harddrive functions) as soon as I go online... So my option is use IX LT and try going online (Maybe learn how to protect my HDD from crippling first)
OR
Use one of those new BenQ 1.4 firmwares that play all waves.

Its better to assume you wasnt flagged and try LT see if it helps. If your console is banned then uncrippling your hard drive is easy.
The non-stealth BenQ 1.41 isnt "new" its old. You are confused with the ix1.6 non-stealth which will boot all waves and is ideal for banned consoles.

On another note guys whats the bet that loads of people forget or dont know that splitvid is now required on discs for them to actually be emulated correctly since the fw no longer takes care of it.

All backups will boot on LT since it no longer does stealth checks but utilizes it if it exists on disk just like one-shot boot mode did. You will however need to make sure you fix/validate your stealth and make sure it has valid splivid as all the checks etc are entirely in the end users hands now.

My personal opinion and observations: *all speculation
c4eva uses TJ as a portal to maintain his anonymity to the world. One of these said people the "manager" with no technical skills, got greedy and decided to exploit his work for $$. Hence the foundmy scandal....

And you know what, that would have been fine with MANY of us, had you NOT made us do ALL the freaking work! I'm sorry $42, should be MORE than enough to cover shipping and labor for you to do EVERYTHING your freaking self!
2 Days later a REAL person, releases his own version of dumping for the Lite-on that decrypts the dump FOR FREE. The REAL SOULTION IS FOUND OUTSIDE of Team Jungle's spokesperson "Iries" and OBVIOUS MONEY SCAM!
It's not until AFTER a version of 1.6 that could play ALL WAVES is released to the masses, that 1.61 is released to the public, by team JF?! Was that being delayed for some kind of $$ too?
Ironically I receive LT (Literally) 2 days ago and after trying it out (Which NO ONE will know is safe or not until next years ban wave) There is an update on the TJ page about LT being released for free to the masses. Hmmm? I'll bet this is ONLY because it's ALREADY been leaked to the masses, by one of your "re-sellers"

One thing is for sure, I've already dedicated two boxes to LT, one with legit games, and one with back-ups. I'll tell you in about 12 months if it's safe or not. LOL But don't worry, I'm sure Microsoft will release a new security check that LT wasn't designed for by next year. And there is TJ excuse for why you'll still get banned.
On a more short-term note, after it's officially released I'll also make sure my copy is the final release and not some imperfect leaked version. Which my source does say this is the pending "offical" release version.

It believe it was well worth the wait, and whether or not it comes out tomorrow or two years from now, ill still support them.

First of all as you all already know and have been already posted lots of times. Team Jungle have been working for free to the comunity. And they've made a tremendus job, wich none of us (at least most of us) would be capable off.
First thing wich you have to think about is:
If they wanted to make a payable Firmware they would design software in orther to update firmware on some conditions, You give them your DVD key + cash and they would give you the firmware with the key of your DVD drive with a specified program. Like this they would make some extra $$ easily without any of us doing anything to turn it around. They and many other programers would made software in order to not be able to change they key. As for wich i have understood who managed the reading of this DVD key (The program) was the ones wich made the firmware for us.
To say the truth i wouldnt care less if we had to pay. Team Jungle how long have you guys working for millions of people for free ?
They released already firmwares wich are already more than enought to play backup games... So i really do not see the issue if they wish to get some extra $$ from it.
I donated them, and i'll again without any problem. I just sent them an email regarding the 110 USD dollars, if i could... i would pay happely... but since i cant afford it i would pay for a lower price, either way we've got another choices (free choices).
Worried with live? Dont mod you xbox simple as that.
Want to take the risk? Just make use of the firmware they've build for us and try use it to see if works... If it doenst, its your risk to take, do not make them responsible for it

-The release for 1.61 AFTER 1.6non-stealth was created. (I think it took like 3 months to get 1.61 released, when 1.51 edits took like a 3 weeks after the debut of the new video partitions... You'll have to pardon my time-lapses I do a LOT of drugs!)
-I've had a LT for two days now, there was no mention of a free release until AFTER there firmware was already leaked....AGAIN. It's my personal opinion that TJ was planning on charging a fee, (which they have the RIGHT to, except for the legal issues behind that. DRMA it's a bitch!) But now they are merely trying to save face-in my opinion, since there plans have been debunked, and it will most likely be in the normal place VERY SOON , since people are dispersing it on their own already.

yes , we know its a must. But is the abgx360 gui uptodate? It seems to tackle it fine, but do we really know if the splitvid function is correct?
But I guess the abgx360 team will be informed by teamjungle if they want/prefer a change in it.

Either way, C4Eva and his team really deserve some payback for their amazing work (maybe not 50$ per console), especially if they make LT for Sammy/Hitachi/Benq as well.
Sorry for assuming the worst. I'm very happy they came out with a statement although this probably could have been stated earlier to prevent this mess.

On a more short-term note, after it's officially released I'll also make sure my copy is the final release and not some imperfect leaked version. Sadly thats the way things have allways been when it comes to hacking consoles, just look at the wii scene hardly any homebrew at all, its all pirated games and ppl crying over why game x does not work and demand a fix instantly.

( two or three xboxes, for online, and ofline, and what not) .. Thats all B.S. I was led to believe the updates caused the problem when checking console / firmware >?
of course more updates will obviously follow so I wonder how LT copes with these and if and how MS will interigate consoles going forward ?
Also there maybe some issues in the future where people were flagged to be banned but disconnected as the ban wave then hit . These people will then flash with LT and alas could then be banned on reconnection to live and blame LT was detected and cause chaos and confusion to the scene.

Then after a few days a certain individual cracks the encryption and posts the results which seems to be a legit copy of ixtreme lt. Only after the encryption had been cracked and the release distributed did team jungle's twitter get updated with a status of ixtreme lt is about to release for free which leads me to believe the plan was always to release to the general public for free which they stated numerous times since the start of development but to gain some revenue they would first sell to resellers and give them a head start on sales (which they would claim was a leaked copy) and stall the official release until encryption was cracked, resellers made their quota, or couldn't hold up release any longer. This of course is all speculation (especially my thoughts on what their plans were) and my common sense at work and even if my assumptions are correct I wouldn't even hold it against them as they should be rewarded for their efforts since every other user who uses their work is gaining financially from it as I stated at the beginning of this post. C4eva and Team Jungle wouldn't even have to go this route (if my assumptions are correct that is) if more people would 'pony up' and donate now and again, I'm sure some donate but I would be shocked to see 1 out of 10 users donated to them as I am sure it is much much lower than that. Voluntary donations are obviously not paying the bills and forced donations is just asking for trouble since it would basically be selling microsoft copyrighted code which is essentially what this whole current incident is except its a lot safer since they can do it through resellers and through different people and claim knowing nothing and it being a leak. The thing I worry about though is microsoft started 'possibly' detecting the firmware itself because of additional code and response time and I'm sure encrypting the fw can't help matters of being fully self and now I'm more concerned for the free public release as if they had a perfect finished product that resellers had and now they are claiming its unfinished they are obviously going to need to change/add to it so when it drops people can't compare the two and say hey whats going on, that was the finished product. Anyways this lengthy post is just my own observations and thoughts on the whole situation and a lot of it isn't factual but speculation but people need to give credit where its due and C4eva and others have been there for us since day one and I strongly believe they deserve to be rewarded more than any other user for their efforts and if users don't like lengthy delays or these type of incidents maybe more people should consider giving more 'voluntary' donations even if its only a buck or two, there are thousands of us and if even if only 1/3 users donated it would certainly add up and actually financially show them their work is truly appreciated and there is no need to attempt other methods for financial compensation that could possibly get them into hot water. The official iXtreme LT release is nearing and I for one love the scene and will be putting this whole incident behind me and will help contribute more and show my appreciation for their work both vocally and financially. Thanks guys.

Then after a few days a certain individual cracks the encryption and posts the results which seems to be a legit copy of ixtreme lt. Only after the encryption had been cracked and the release distributed did team jungle's twitter get updated with a status of ixtreme lt is about to release for free which leads me to believe the plan was always to release to the general public for free which they stated numerous times since the start of development but to gain some revenue they would first sell to resellers and give them a head start on sales (which they would claim was a leaked copy) and stall the official release until encryption was cracked, resellers made their quota, or couldn't hold up release any longer. This of course is all speculation (especially my thoughts on what their plans were) and my common sense at work and even if my assumptions are correct I wouldn't even hold it against them as they should be rewarded for their efforts since every other user who uses their work is gaining financially from it as I stated at the beginning of this post. C4eva and Team Jungle wouldn't even have to go this route (if my assumptions are correct that is) if more people would 'pony up' and donate now and again, I'm sure some donate but I would be shocked to see 1 out of 10 users donated to them as I am sure it is much much lower than that. Voluntary donations are obviously not paying the bills and forced donations is just asking for trouble since it would basically be selling microsoft copyrighted code which is essentially what this whole current incident is except its a lot safer since they can do it through resellers and through different people and claim knowing nothing and it being a leak. The thing I worry about though is microsoft started 'possibly' detecting the firmware itself because of additional code and response time and I'm sure encrypting the fw can't help matters of being fully self and now I'm more concerned for the free public release as if they had a perfect finished product that resellers had and now they are claiming its unfinished they are obviously going to need to change/add to it so when it drops people can't compare the two and say hey whats going on, that was the finished product. Anyways this lengthy post is just my own observations and thoughts on the whole situation and a lot of it isn't factual but speculation but people need to give credit where its due and C4eva and others have been there for us since day one and I strongly believe they deserve to be rewarded more than any other user for their efforts and if users don't like lengthy delays or these type of incidents maybe more people should consider giving more 'voluntary' donations even if its only a buck or two, there are thousands of us and if even if only 1/3 users donated it would certainly add up and actually financially show them their work is truly appreciated and there is no need to attempt other methods for financial compensation that could possibly get them into hot water. The official iXtreme LT release is nearing and I for one love the scene and will be putting this whole incident behind me and will help contribute more and show my appreciation for their work both vocally and financially. Actually, people have been giving the sites (not necessarily that one) money and getting working LT firmware in return. That's how we are now hearing that G*****a cracked the protection on an "unofficial" LT, which is unfinished and therefore unsafe.
Any news as to why TeamJungle waited until now to comment on the leaked LT? Those sites have been selling it for a couple of days now, haven't they?

lol They took the LT offers completely off the site now. There isn't a SINGLE trace of them having sold LT. Anyhow, thanks C4E and everyone else who contributes to the scene

Yeah I thought I've seen you post here and there, and with the kind of drama that unfolds in this scene and the lack of respect you devs get for the time you put into your work I can't blame you for ceasing development but I still want to thank you for the contributions that you have made and trust me there was at least 1 person (and im sure genuinely many more) that truly respected and was very thankful for your work and efforts. The LEADER of Team Jungle himself came forward and admitted that they had already specifically done this before (foundmy) and that the intention was to do it AGAIN. They HAVE!

I completely agree. It seems as time goes on with this, the scene deteriorates more and more. It's not good, I still can't understand why everyone is so up in arms over the whole thing. What's done is done, it can't be taken back and steps were made to make things right and now everyone is disrespecting those who are most important to the scene. What will happen when they give up? It's hard to keep working on something when you release it (or in this case, discuss the release of it) and half the people seem to think that they DESERVE it, as if it is some sort of right. I am glad to see alot of people thanking those behind this, but it makes me sad to see all the people who still disrespect them.
Let it go, or the scene will be gone.

To be honest I have not read one percent of all the posts concering this, but want to say a gigantic thank you for all the hard work C4Eva and the team put in. I am a newb, but who cares. At least I am thankful and appreciate all the work that's been done.
Gigantic thanks again for everything and I will make my 2nd donation when this is released. Is team jungle the right receiver as I am unsure of who really gets the money? I want it to end up with the right people.

TJ anounce that LT is going to be free after geremia hacked the "DEMO" version bringing down the scheme they had so they anounce that LT is free and going to release it "Shortly" but since the are not going to make any money now they are now depending on the scene for donations before they release it so they dont luck out.

Never pay for this kinda stuff and donate wisely because thats how they get greedy first they get donations and want more and more and before you know it there selling copyrighted firmware as there own and it ruins the scene.

I would never PAY for a xbox firmware, even if they were all priced because its a shady thing anyway and MS don't support it and infact its hacked MS code so in essence selling it could bring some serious legal thunderstorm down on anyone doing so.
Its like stealing someones work and then making money off its resale, hence why I don't support firmware for sale, unless its paying someone a small fee for their time (which is ok if you ask me, time isn't free after all.)

Yep This is exactly what happened. They were going to sell it. But Geremia Hacked it and was able to get it out. Now since the same thing is out for free already they are trying to do some damage control. You are 100% right what happened.

It means the same as it did when they sold the decryptions via foundmy for the 83v1, They didnt want people using it unless they paid (until they had raked in enough cash to announce the fw is complete and ready for free), Unfortunately for them Geremia broke the encryption AGAIN and made it freely available so VERY soon after in both cases Team Jungle popped up and gave it away for free.

I have tons of respect for the people that develop the firmwares/make programs and emulators for homebrew but all of this stuff started from people wanting to explore the xbox and essentially have fun doing it.
