Title: Spoofed Hitachi Problem

I recently spoofed my Hitachi v59 to a Liteon 74850 I have several disks that wont read.  I get the open tray error.  I know the disks are ok as they work with my flashed Samsung.  I have tried the little plastic trick on the laser switch.  I have tried the rubber band trick.  Nothing seems to work.  Sometimes if I eject the disk several times it reads.  Originals play fine.  Some backups play fine.  I only use Verbatim media.  Any ideas???  Thanks in advance.
