Title: E74 And Power Supply

Hi, my friend got an e74 and I fixed it but got e74 again. I noticed that he has a 203w xbox360 but his power supply is a 175w. He said it came with the 360 when he bought it brand new. I was wondering if there could be a problem if you have the mix match in power supply wattage and console or is that ok? Thanks you.

1) Wrong thread.

2) a 175w power supply will not connect to a 203w motherboard. It is keyed differently. Unless your friend modifed the power connector by breaking out the pin that prevents this.

3) Even if he did get a 175 power supply to work i don't think the lack of power would cause this error. You need to look into a better method of fixing the error. (in a differnt thread!! )
