Title: Another Goty Question
Post by: The Pen is mightier on May 30, 2004, 01:34:00 PM
I know you can replace the sounds in the folders for your own, but can you just add new files in? Can I just put a new song in, and have it play that, as well as the default ones?

1. i dont know what goty means in the topic so i might not answer you perfectly
2. i doubt adding a song to a game directory will get it to play cause usually the songs are linked in the xbe or w/e. like the games usually play certain files at certain points.

oh sorry, morrowind. I know it works in the PC version to just add the songs into the music folder...

no no no, morrowind doesn't even support custom soundtracks. But if you change the songs in the game folder on your harddrive they'll play during the game. I was just wondering if it was possible to get it to play 10 different songs rather than 6, or whatever...

edit- sorry, I forgot to add, thanks for trying to help, it's appreciated  :D

I know  I changed the explore music in the old Morrowind. Obviously the file format has to match. I dont remember if it was a .WAV or .WMA or .mpg. Then I had to rename the song to whatever the files original name was. As far as adding additional song titles. You would probably have to find some ini file to change.
