Title: Error 5 + Alladin Mcdchip

I have been getting an error 6 so i bought an  Aladdin Advance V64 modchip im going to install it today. I was wondering if this for sure would fix my error 5 and boot up to the evox dash. (thanks in advance)

Error 5 is an unlocked hard drive - so yes the alladin will fix that if you flash it with an hacked bios.

Error 6 is when the hard drive is locked to a different xbox, the alladin wont fix that - you will have to put it back it the xbox it is locked to, unlock it then replace it in your xbox.

oh crap but the thing is i dont have the xbox it came out of and theres no way of getting it back. So what can i do now?

get a new HD.. thats all you can do.. there is only one hope, and that is if you have locked the current HD with config magic or a similar program...

Which is you have error 5 or error 6 as it changed during the post?
If it is error 5 and the HDD came from another box then its already unlocked so you can sort it.
