Title: New To X- Box, Need Help!

Hi just bought an x-box first thing i did was have it chipped and then had a hard drive installed.  I ac

My x-box comes with evo x dashboard and i noticed it had media player installed on there.  

Each time i click on media player on it it doesnt load.  I got a feeling its something to do with the settings or something as my x-box is  new and only been modded.

Please help me as im dying to watch my divx movies on the media player.

Any help will be greatly appreciated <

You need to ask in the XBMC or XBMP forum.

I see you have just joined up and are probably 'chompin at the bit' to get in and enjoy your new toys. Best advice is to read, read, read. It took me a week of reading in here before I posted any questions (felt like a week). There is a lot to absorb but it is well worth it.  <

First i would FTP into your xbox while Evox is running then transfer the evox.ini over to your pc and check it out. Check the methods of the menus and see if theres a mistake with the media player one. Also check the media program is actually on the xbox and not just an entry in evox.ini

If all else fails, obtain the latest XBMC yourself transfer it over and maek your own entry into evox.ini to launch it.  <
