Just found some new info on the matter, turns out i need to config the config file on the xbmp. Problem is i dont know what to config it to, anyone couldnt give me any ideas of what i should set this to, or even post the contents of a pre configed file its self. I would be realy appreciative if anyone could please give any info on the matter. I would go and check the contents of the file but i am in work and dont have access to it at this moment in time, please can anyone help.

Thankyou tajer

you'll want to setup the <local> tag like...

<local>

        <address*>192.168.1.5</address*>
        <subnet*>255.255.255.0</subnet*>
        <gateway*>192.168.1.1</gateway*>
        <nameserver>192.168.0.6</nameserver>
        <imdb>e:\Apps\Xbox.Media.Player.2.4\imdb</imdb>
        <home>e:\Apps\Xbox.Media.Player.2.4</home>
</local>

then you'll want to setup the XNS stream server like...

<share>
<name>RelaX</name>
<url>d:\[email protected]</url>
</share>

or

<share>
<name>Network (XNS)</name>
<url>[email protected]</url>
</share>

This all came from the manual, just READ IT!!
