Why must Nero Recode be supported?  It is one of the easiest, fastest, and highest quality encoders I've seen.  Seriously, it takes almost no time or skill to use Nero Recode to rip a DVD to a MPEG 4 file.  And the video quality is better than current day Divx and Xvid video.  I suggest you all try it once and you will see what I mean.

Well the video quality is not, first of all, assuming you know how to encode with XviD and DivX ;).

But I don't see why it wouldn't be, since afaik the current Nero Recode codec is MPEG-4 compliant I think?
