Title: Xbmc April Fool Build?

i saw that april fool build in usual place, are that build is working version or a joke?


my friend said he install it and it said bad skin and go to a black skin, and when he ftp to it, it kind of remove his other drives (e,f...) and make into a Q drive?

what the hell is that?

Why would you even want to put that crap on your xbox?? Does it really sound appealing? I'm not sure what u consider a "usual place" but I havnt seen that in any of the trusty "usual places". I did see it at places I would never trust. anyway Q drive is the dir xbmc is in.

I think by April fool build he means that it has a build date of 1st April rather than:

XBMC_April_Fools_build.rar

And the other stuff he discribes is probably his freind forgot to edit the xboxmediacentre.xml - either that or he f***ed it up  :P

There was a mistake in the "usual places's" build for the april 1st. I think thats what he's talking about. The problem was that the pmIII skin in that build was in the pmII folder or something like that. So that could of caused yur friends problem

Wrong.. There is actually a build floating around out there named
"XBMC April Fools build". I've seen it in several places.. Thats what he
was talking about.

Ok fair enough, it just sounded too good to be true! You're right tho - I wouldn't have installed anything call April Fools Build :D
