long time lurker, relatively new to the 360 scene -- i "used to" game on my pc quite a bit.  i got bit by the 360 bug during one of those retarded target deals, got some games, and am now sucked in.  

i'm looking to sell (for the time being) 3 units.  i totally understand apprehension regarding new forum joiners selling in their first number of posts.  frankly, i've had not much to add as i've been in learning mode for the past 4 months and will probably continue to do so for a while.

i'm willing to consider additional shipping options at your expense.  but sorry, developing countries/emerging markets, not willing to ship there.

would you consider a sealed (as in the retail box is sealed) 60gb falcon bundle for the arcade bundle in the first post? i picked it up a few weeks ago (still have receipt) with the intent of selling it later on. i think they're comparable in resellability price..and i would really appreciate it! i could throw in a few bucks if needed. please PM me.

I believe I'll be coming into 2 Sealed Pro Bundles next week.  I may end up videoing me opening them & booting them to prove the dashboard.  I would actually like to hear your (yes, you!) opinion as to whether or not that's necessary.  ie, these bundles have dates in 2008Q4 and the bundles package seal is intact.  I've just heard whispers about people doing gutswaps (how shameful) and don't want to put my name on something that isn't what is advertised.  Anyway, enough for the rant.  Please provide your opinion if you have one on this.

It twas indeed as advertised.  But it wasn't pictures in general I was after, it was a picture AFTER some permanent marker had been applied.  WOOT WOOT a confirmed Jasper (It was nice to receive a JASPER, and not just a falcon with the wrong port on it!)

what i've got on hand is just a few posts above, and i keep it up to date.  

so, no, i only have 7371 SB jaspers, though <as is seen above> all have manufacture dates before the CB-patch cutoff and they have not been into repair/service.

update on #016: no problem if fb0.04/12611 is desired.  just tested it on my primary tag, worked without a problem.  boxes are the same, so if you want it, just request it.

update on cygnos boxes: no fb patches for them yet, but it is being worked on.

<btw, still seeking input regarding the "can boflc cut the retail seal to prove exploitable dash versions without folks feeling as tho it is too much of a compromise?">

second, i thought about creating a separate thread about this, but concluded that the powers that be could be upset, so i'm just posting this info here:

this seller, don't trust.  i purchased this EXACT unit as it was claimed to be "new" and "used once".  i got it, true, all accessories were still new in packages, but the warranty seals were messed up.  i took pictures and got them to accept a return.  once i did that, i decided to take a little deeper look at the box (b/c they had offered a $25 refund or a full return).  j1d2 and j2b1 were covered in flux (i have pictures of this).  anyway, i didn't take it further than there.  i did try to get another $100 off, though smile.gif b/c i'm betting the unit has its SPI blown and thus needs a cygnos.

just thought i'd warn ppl away from both the unit && the seller.

i will continue to hunt for more units, but i'd to make sure everyone is aware: tagable jaspers are become extremely scarce.  we're not at extinction yet, but they are becoming very difficult to come across.

i'll open a new thread when i've come across more units; for certain i will have a set of cygnos revE tagged boxes but it may be a little while.

Vash3k was courteous, understanding and prompt with payment; i was in no way expecting such effusive, positive feedback and frankly and am a bit at a loss for words here.  

as such i feel this should stand: there is nothing at all that would stop me from doing business with Vash3k again; he is trustworthy and a stand-up guy.

side-note:
to be fair (to myself), though, i am currently taking time off from work over the holidays and that certainly contributed to at least some of the immediate responses that Vash3k experienced; future interactions with me may come with a 12-hour delay (barring anything unforeseen) as my "real life" with a paycheck and family present a welcome demand of my time (okay, just the latter there ohmy.gif wink.gif.  that said, i'm careful with what will be not-my-console when working with it, i take my time with my work, and i test.  twice.

#404 is on hold for myself. So far my experience with boflc has been unrivaled as far as online dealings go. He is accommodating in every way and willing to put in time to answer any questions that I have had for him. I was tired of receiving such rude/poorly written replies from others who go unnamed "yea br0 you want jtagz?" He's professional and always treated me like an adult. yes, but note my condition regarding international shipping and payment means.  i would ship via whatever means you want, and for a console-only, i'd eat USD$17 of the shipping cost (as that's usually what it costs for medium-flat-rate+signature+insurance).

please note that the consoles i have on hand are NTSC-U and not PAL.

no real need, unless you are using standard video (ie, not HD/component nor HDMI).  and if so, that can be done with an SMC modification.

Bump for an amazing seller! Just purchased a Jasper as a replacement for a JTAG that had died. Couldn't be better! Console came well packaged and delivered insanely fast. Constant communication through the whole process and a really cool guy to talk to (offered some great advice regarding the non-working JTAG). I have to agree with Inuyasha on this guy. GREAT seller. Bought a replacement Jasper from him. Came packaged quite nicely (one box for xbox, another for the cords...which had bubble wrap on them to prevent damages). He even did me a solid hanging on to it for a bit. Absolutely a fantastic seller and would gladly purchase from him again if need be. Also, the xbox is running like a champ so far! Thanks again boflc!

A bit late getting around to typing this, but add me to the very satisfied customer list:

 I ordered two jtaged boxes from him, with additional NAND flashing hardware. Every step of the way he has you covered. He uses PayPal for security and shipping insurance, provided small homemade video clips of the *exact* merchandise to be received before shipping it, and answered any questions I threw at him completely and thoroughly. He provided a disc for each console with an in depth backup of all unique data for each system (NAND images, dvdrom firmware, etc) and a few tools to get you started. He also happily shipped everything to me up in Canada, which some sellers will flatout refuse to deal with.

He's professional, honest and doesn't muck around. Everything exactly as advertised. Boflc is the real deal people. smile.gif

I'd also like to mention that his electronic soldering is top notch. Flawless, clean connections, no PCB damage and he's clearly done extensive homework on the various methods and perfected his craft. His work is so tidy, it could easily pass off as the original board design sans modification. His skilled work paired with the vastly improved Jasper boards will surely stand the test of time.

I had a great experience with boflc as a buyer, unfortunately I had to ask for a refund before he shipped the box because I hadn't anticipated the customs charges, as he would be shipping from the US to the UK where I live.

As a seller boflc answered every question I had and he has done nothing but help me out since I began talking to him. He provided complete proof of the box he was selling to me including pictures and video.

If it wasn't for those customs charges I would have gone through with the purchase. It was no problem getting a refund and he always let me know I could get a refund if I wasn't happy before he shipped it.

Seems like an overall great guy and I'd recommend him to everyone!
