I have a 1.0 xbox and they gave me the big new powercord. Ever since I got the power cord my xbox randomly shuts off. The fuse blows in the powercord and I have to reset it to make the xbox work again. No damage is done that I know of because my xbox turns back on and plays fine. Yet, still randomly it shuts off...
I should probably do that powersupply fix....quick!
anyone else have this problem? I never heard of anyone elses just randomly blowing the fuse. I never had any problems with the old powercord...

Something else on that circuit in your home is throwing it. The circuit has too much power. Go to your circuit breaker box and find what else is on that breaker. Something is consuming too much power. Usually happens with heating devices such as irons, heaters, or even humidifiers. High power amplifiers that draw a lot of current will also throw breakers like that.

i think hes talking about the box on the end of the power cord that contains a fuse like device that blows when the xbox starts grounding its self
