ok so i am buying led board from sickdemison to but leds in the faceplate... and where do i wire them in to.... mobo? psu? contoller ports?? hhd?? plz thx

HAve you taken your box apart yet? the molex is the cable thats going into the back of your hard drive or as i said hdd it has diff color wires and is not grey. now if you go to radio shack and ask them for a 4 pin molex y splitter it will cost 5 bucks. you take the y splitter and unplug the molex from your hdd then you plug the y splitter into the power molex and plug one end fof the y splitter to your hdd thne use the other to power leds/secound hdd/cathodes/fans ect...

yes i have takeing it apart ...  ok now got that down wat type of wire do i get...

4 pin molex "y" splitter. hmmm maybe should make it easier four pin molex why splitter.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

ooooh sorry you mean to wire the leds from the molex... i think 22 guage but im not sure....

really, you can wire them to wherever the hell you want that provides a power source.

have u tried looking at the tuttorials on the main page for installing led's for jewls and such it shows what u need to know and even has pics of a molex splitter.

i think 28 or 30 gauge single strand wire is the best for any xbox mod...its easy to solder
