Title: Just Searching For A Howto

i m looking for a howto for an disk replacement
on a 1.1 xbox modded with a xecuter 3 ce

i can't find any partitions on the original disk so i don't know what filesystem
i need to put on the new disk

i have here a 80-Gb western digital i want to put in there
and i might want to know what dashboard to put in
i probebly need an partition for some games and free space for
an xbox linux version gentoox

can i do without the backups from the original disk?
i can't find withs file system the original disk has  so might not be able to copy content
or u might have a backup howto also?

If you want to play live you need eeprom. I haven't read the guid it just sounded like it was what you needed  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

i can do without the xboxlive thingy but might wanna go to an non-official xbox-gaming site

xecuter3ce has a tool to prepare a new hdd.  if you flashed the bios to have x3 on it.  if your not worried about xbox live, you can put any dash on there and work from there.

i m this far :
i made the disk and put the bios where i think it should be
but i don't know the short-cut to get in the EvolutionX bios
maybe u can help me
