How is your Xbox modded? If it's chipped or flashed then you don't need xboxhdm, you can build the new disk easily in your Xbox.
If it's softmodded then you can use xboxhdm (1.9 if your PC has two IDE ports on the motherboard, 2.2 if you only have one IDE port), or lxhdm, or chimp 2618.
HeXEn (Google Heimdall's Xbox Engineering Disk, burn to DVD-R at 4x or slower) will build a new chipped/flashed disk for you, and also has an lxhdm implementation to build a new disk on a softmodded Xbox.
You won't get a link to HeXEn or Kingroach NDURE 3.1 here, because it's against the rules. xboxhdm 2.2 is here. xboxhdm 1.9 is easy to find via Google.

You need to reformat the F/G partitions of they are larger than 256GB.
Yes, xboxhdm2.2 is almost identical to xboxhdm1.9, but works with only one IDE port, and has been tidied up. xboxhdm 1.9 will do what you want - as will HeXEn/lxhdm!
