The IGR that you were using was probably the one built in to Evox, not your BIOS.
In order to have IGR again, you'll need to flash a new BIOS to your modchip or TSOP that includes it. If your Xbox is softmodded, you'll need to copy a new BFM BIOS to your BIOS loader's BIOS directory.

Or if it uses a newer softmod, you'll need to compile a new NKPatcher with IGR enabled and replace the original one.

which bios should i get?

I have a similar problem. I upgraded the XBMC (used as Dashboard), and now my IGR cold boots twice! instead of a single warm boot. I would also like to know which BIOS would be best in this situation and what tool should be used to flash.
Here are my system specifications:
Xbox Version: V1.6
Mod Chip: Hynix HY29F080
Kernel Version: 1.00.5838.1
BIOS Version: ?
Here are the settings featured within the evox.ini file
Dash Version: +3935 (Old Build)
TSR: Disabled
IGR: No (note: This has always been disabled in the past and has always worked correctly)
