Title: Nec Dv-5700a
Post by: TKramka on February 21, 2005, 09:13:00 AM
I found this DVD Drive in an old Dell I was working on and it just screamed Thomson Replacement.  Could this drive be a feasable replacement that could be flashed with Thomson, Philips, Samsung, or HL firmware?  I found all the required points on the main board, thank God no NAND gate needed.

Here's a pic from eBay.

Hello

I have this drive too. Any luck figuring out how to hook it up?

Thanks.
