I have about 50 dvd's, and they are all some of the best pictures ever, except two of them. And I can't really say I remember, but I think the first one I bought was one of the two bad one's. I bought them only because I needed to try the system out. I think I'm going to give them away to someone. They only look stupid among the other masterpieces

I find it interesting with dvd's. All new dvd's cost around $40 over here, which I think is very expensive. But I buy most of my dvd's from "the classics shelf", where I've found very many, very good classics for about $11. And I think old films are often a lot better then all new crap. I buy the cheap films because they're not going to fool me into buying crappy $40 dvd's. People should be smacked in the head's for being that stupid. And I'm saying that being a huge film-freak.

What do dvd's cost in USA and UK? What do the dvd's cost in your "classics shelfs"?

dvds over here cost around $15-20, with special editions obviously being more... normally once a dvd has been out for a while the price drops around $5...

Wow, you really have reasonable prices in USA. I think it's a european standard with the high prices. Doesn't really matter to me as I don't even want the new films, but for the rest :(
