Hate Shyamalan. He made Sixth sense which was good, stupid, yet good. But then he made two exact copies of it, Unbreakable and Signs. Some sort of religious sick propaganda. And I expect the village to be built up by all of his regular rules.

M. Night Shyamalan is among the  ranks of Wes Craven.

no, not really... unless you see the similarities in where they were smartly written, nothing blew up, and they actually made the viewer think alittle...

I just can't stand how his films are ALL about religion. If you know the meaning of the word dramaturgy, and often think about it watching films you'd hate he's using the EXACT same dramaturgy in all his films. I've studied film for several years, and when I see these stuffs I get so irritated I can't find much amusement in the film. Like the usage of soundeffects. He always make them exciting, but often at completely wrong places. The sixth sense was very good, unlikeable, but a good film. But seeing the same dramaturgy in the rest of his films just eats me.

Wes Craven is actually a lot better. I really liked Scream (1), and the others were good as well, but they didn't meet up with Scream.

The besy dramaturgy-"builder" is IMO Tarantino.

It was alright, ending was kinda predicatable, still good though. People are calling it m.nights shamaylanaswhateva swan song but it really isn't.
