This is X-cite with no gadgets on, Nice and plain
The clearity-remix background is default ( its kinda my thing )
But you can pick your custom background anyway...
O.k all the feature are on,...
The image for the ID card comes from your profile so make sure you have a photo set for your profile
The RSS feeds are Dual feeds, so to add the second feed,
Just add this to your Rssfeeds.xml in xbmc / userdata

Or what ever Link you want, id has to be "2" though.
I have added a Vista like slideshow frame for the homepage,
just select your custom photos folder that you want to view - take In Mind Viewing Large photos files will
make the RSS feeds pause for a second while the photos transition form 1 to another
I kinda of glassed up some of the textures so there looking much better now
xlink-kai also got a going over, It was pretty bad in remix

Also theres more than 1 skin theme, The first photo is the skin default icons..
and you could easily make your own - Check deviantart.com for .png docking icons and XPRexpress to compress them

the only diffrence is the home page i just dont like it so i`ll stick to Clearity-Remix skin and i might even start using the Concept skin as that is looking good but the X-cite skin just to poor the main page is not very good
i dont mean to be nasty i just hope you keep on working on it and make it better but i would rethink the home page

Yep had that problem as well. by default the font of choice is called default. go to the fonts dir and you will see there is no font called default! doh! I copied one of the other fonts and called it default. and every thing worked.. I also had to copy the media folder in as well as this wasnt in the build dir.

Making a few more few types for videos and music
Probable have an enable/disable text under Home icons switch because its looks pretty nice without text...
Still have to get some dialog work done, and maybe get on to library views and stuff which I don't use myself....
Any suggestion welcome,
Cant say that I'll use them all but definitely think about it

Heres the update version 0.2
A lot has changed for the better....
I have included a background colours folder inside the media folder - So you can manually select a white or black background if you want.
Use the white-mode button in skin options to change the font white or black!
I have also included my rssfeeds.xml if you want to use it - Its set up for dual rss feeds - just copy it into xbmc/userdata folder
There is only two themes now default & vista
#the old themes from version1-X-cite release wont work!

Music info, ratings, favourites, busy, etc etc... I have brought all the xml's up to date

Go to skin options - Media options -and Enable background visualizations in special2 music view...
Then make sure you have your visualizations turned on, to something like saville or milkdrop or whatever...
Then use special 2 view in music files or music library to see it

I uploaded your lovely skin, switched over to it in appearance and then dropped back the the home page.... I only see a lovely background and some small icons in the top left of the page. The only icon that does anything is the mute button.
Any ideas

At the moment I have It finished for 16X9 - but I have to relocate and change the skin option like Rss, Weather etc to suit the new view..
So that the positioning for the gadgets etc can function with both old-desktop and new-media view after that I have to do 4:3 Resolution, then test for bugs and it should be ready

Any feedback from ppl wud be great, regarding labels positions or design layout, whatever.
The skin will load as the old desktop Home-View as default So just change it to the Media-View in Skin options If you what....
Note# When using either Desktop or Media View some gadgets will not work in certain views - cuz I have configured it to be different.

I have some bad news my xbox has died..
just there last nite... I have another xbox but its in storage., but I cant use that until I move house in about 3 weeks time...
So for now If ppl could just post idea's and errors for the skin I will definitely see to it in about 3 weeks time...

Someone requested that view type before, but I didnt get the chance to do It.

However I'm still getting a blank home page. It shows nothing.. Nadda, except a small menu in the top left when I press 'Start'. The only button to work is the mute. I can't get back the the drop down or anything.
Before I bin this skin, please could you give some instruction into what seems to be getting me stuck?

Make sure you have an xbmc build thats at least the 5th of june and also make sure you delete any old x-cite skin before ftp'n it across - don't just overwrite it

I tried it on a fresh reinstall of XBMC on my bedroom xbox and it works..
Strange thing is, I'm using the same T3CH release on both my machines. I will do a total fresh reinstall of everything on my main xbox... and then we shall see. It might be a conflict with something else, I have a few mods running on the prime xbox.
