Title: Huge Problem Video Playback
Post by: incognegro on August 02, 2005, 06:24:00 AM
I just updated with the build found on xbins yesterday and i realised there seems to be a problem with video playback. I use the startup video script and no this is not about xbmc freezing at startup using this script. everytime i try to play a video i get a black screen, then when I press A i can hear the sound but still no picture. If i stop the video and retry it works (sometimes!). The biggest problem for me is, i had no problems with the script before but now since this bug is present, i cant play any playlists properly and it has made the script damn near useless!  :grr:  :grr:

1: This is  not a video problem. Learn how to make a correct topic.
2: It is a script problem.
3: This isn“t the script forum. There for it is moved...
4: THIS is the script forum where this belongs.
5: Make a full update. The python scripting have moved to being dll based.

no use to me at all, this is running video's normaly, not from scripts, screen just go's completly black, and has the counter in the top corner but no box around it, I rolled back the codec's and it wasent that, but when I started xbmc with the old xbe, it was fine again, im presuming its got something to do with the new stacking system or the full screen gui calibration
