Title: Adult Swim Streams

Currently on Fridays at 11PM US viewers can select adult swim programs to watch streaming  online.  This Friday that opens up to become a 24/7 service (still US only for now).  I don't know much about python scripting, but would it be possible to either make an ooba function or just an entirely new script that could browse tese shows and play them on xbmc?

YES that friggin rules.  That would be sweet if somebody wrote a script for it, or maybe we can just extract the stream address and make a strm file.

here's the address for picking out streams.

i took a few streams and tried to get their mms in vlc but they all gave me the same one (didn't play back in vlc btw, only in the browser) and i had to restart so i don't have it anymore.  "loader" something.  sorry, i know this isn't helpful but point is i can't figure it out.  if anybody could post the links here that'd be sweet.

as a side note i'm sure they're subject to change each week so a script that parced the page and extracted the mms:// feeds for each episode would be optimal although probably hard.   this might just end up being another one of those fantasy script posts but i feel that this one could be pretty worthwhile.

If you click on an episode on the right side, and then click the "Launch External Player" button it loads the .asx.

For example the .asx for Samurai Champloo is: hxxp://www.adultswim.com/adultswimfix/tools/vids/clip2.asx

And inside of that .asx we can see the following:

CODE
    
    
        
        
        
    
    
        
    
    
        
    


The last 2 streams above are the show. The 1st is likely just a commercial or something...

So in essence I don't think it would be too hard... *shrug*

What did you use to get it so you could see the scripting or whatever for the stream?

Yes this would be so cool! I wish I knew Python, or had the time to learn it.
