Title: How To Remove System Update?
Post by: SNAAAKE on July 26, 2010, 02:14:00 PM
I dunno if updates from games effect anything. I dont even have any new games with new dashboard updates BUT I still wanna know how it works.

lets say I rip an original game on the drive from nxe and patch it with nxe2god so I can play from drive without the disc in tray. how do I get rid of the dashboard updates? is there a software or do I manually find the folder and delete it via ftp?

does updates from games effect my jtag setup at all? I heard about fuse blowing or whatever. I did try to install the 100ohm resister to prevent that but the xbox wouldnt start(red rings) so I had to get rid of the resistor.

can someone clear up the confusion for me plz lol.. ph34r.gif

well I am on xbr and not freeboot. I am assuming I cant install freeboot without having to solder all the jtag stuff again??

I tried ripping with freestyle but it gave me random error. I dunno if the new version is any better but I will look into it.

No soldering needed. Just read a freeboot tutorial.
