the gameboy emulators are pretty cool but given that jtagging has been out for awhile i thought there would be a more ambitious emulator out by now or at least maybe in the works maybe ps1? n64? dreamcast or gamecube even? i mean the 360 is a pretty powerful machine compared to the original xbox and it had emulators galore
Development on the Xbox 360 is new grounds to many programmers here in the scene, including me.. Yes the 360 is much much more powerful than the orginal Xbox, but there's tons of differences. A lot of work of work goes into emulation and the 360 is just simply something new that we developers have to learn how use. Mind you back in the original Xbox days things where a lot simpler..
Currently I'm working on a N64 emulator entitled Love64.

not sure on the name though. I think it would be better if it was called "free64"
though the emulators on 360 are pretty impressive for such an early homebrew life.

I think it is fine the way it is, mainly because if it was called free64, people might get confused between free60 (The bios) and free64 (The emulator).
free60 is the name oft the hacking/linux/xell/libxenon project...
