If you find the image its not that hard to make ( its just a resizing and a file swap away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ). Anway I a glad the "British panty" theme isn't the default one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
I think basic themes are quite easy to make in here .

No crashes but the loader only show it at my hdd1 not at usb-hdd. I use the format HFS+,
maybe no write permission or is the loader till yet incompatibel.

This was the way it was originally. It's actually helped me out figuring which folder I needed to copy. I'd remember which 'new' game I played last and go from there. If there was a way to see which folder was attached to which game I doubt I'd like the system. Lockup issues have improved. I was able to play Assassins creed 2 a little better. hardly any lockups until a cutscene. Since it seems to have improved with little lockups this tells me that XBR may not have all the issues. Merry Christmas!
I've noticed improvements between xexloader and viper360 on my back up of MUA2, so I can concur. Where the original xexloader would barely break 10fps Viper360 was getting 20fps. Still unplayable. I've yet to test this new build out so don't think I'm saying viper360 works better then this or vice-versa. Hopefully this update will help it run smooth. do some reading, youll notice people playing the same games, off disc, without any loader of any kind have issues as well.
i dont know why people are testing games with new loaders expecting or saying it gives different results.

No it does not work like that its all built in
you need your game to be in the root of your usb or hdd
example:

However i just found out that if there is no nxeart file in the game then the picture will not display, so the older games do not show a picture (example; Ridge Racer 6, as there is no nxeart file on the DVD). If i copy the nxeart file from Borderlands to the game dir of RidgeRacer 6 then you will see the Borderlands picture show up

get a cheap 64mb memory card for $10 from some joe shmoe and copy your profile and game saves there and use the hard drive casing for your laptop/desktop hard drive for running the games...
Any 1 done this already and what are your results?? Or what do u think of the idea...

for the last time freezes are not xexloader related but Xbreboot. Freeboot users haven't complained yet, except about titleupdates, but thats just a matter of writing tutorials how to do it correctly.

I know, my initial email response said I didnt follow the rules. why even tell me that if I was too late? I call shenanigans as well. I think I have been bs'd. I figured that easter egg out in less than 5 minutes after seeing that video. It was completely obvious that you had to activate the easter egg with buttons that werent mapped to do anything in that menu.

It just froze with a black screen, once you press the guide it would load normal. Then I removed the avatars from hdd. The freezing disapeared. So the freezing in xexloader is caused by avatars, unfortunately the game freezes persist.

you have to make a folder where you want it downloaded to. the copy dvd to folder you just made.

What folders / Files do you delete to get rid of the avatars? I have the same problem

Well, i have a 160gig WD drive which i use as a 120gig xbox hdd. I could not find the avatar files on the hdd using Xplorer360. So what i did is, I backed up all my profile and saves data. I flashed the hdd back to original fw so that windows can reconise it. Then I formatted the hdd in windows using partion wizard, after that I flashed the hdd back to xbox 120hddss.bin. Thats how I removed the avatars. A bit of a lengthy exercise but it worked.
Now that I think of it, you'll probably be able to format your xbox hdd in any partition software without flashing it to stock. Then you'll just need to format it with your xbox again afterwards

I did that and it still tells me "This game could not start. Please download the game again". I can see my game in the menu. I dont know if it makes any difference but Im using freeboot with a Hacked 8995 Dashboard. I know im close. Do I have to patch the default.xex with anything? If XEX tool what command?

The file browser is a hastle to use. I would like to be able to mark more than one file or select all files. A norton commander style interface would be best.

Select all, Copy and paste would be nice.
Instead of having to go file by file.
Hopefully they will impliment that in the next release along with the auto xex patching.

You try this with fifa 10 and works...in fifa 10 there are two .xex files i must to patch all.. I try do that but with a difference X:/fifa 10/default.xex and it doesn't work. All games works with it, only fifa doesn't work.

Yeah but say I want to copy some stuff into hdd1:\content\0000000000000000\ . I cant merge folders, it will just overwrite. So i have to do it one by one.

Yeah the old .12 version does not support overwrite so you cannot update it by running the old version. You need to burn the new version to CDRW and run the NEW XeX from there, and then you can overwrite the old one. But also the button config has changed so it's a bit confusing at first if you are used to the old one.
I too am stuck with a std def TV that can only see the top left corner of the screen. It would be nice for the next version of XeX to scale to fit the screen resolution.

Or to save the hassle, and waste of a CD (if you can't get your box to read RWs), just stick it on a USB key. Use xexloader from your hard disk to launch the new version from the usb key. Then use the new one to upgrade the old on on the hard disk.

I know but like an idiot I prepared my 1tb hdd for the 360 and then spent most of the day dumping around 40+ games on it, unfortunately I also cable tidied the cables (to keep the missis happy) so hooking it to the pc aint as easy (also doing that every time I dump a new game is gonna suck)
Yeah I know I can just use a usb stick to dump the default.xex and use that on the pc but when you have 40+ getting them mixed up is a possibility so unless it's the only way I want to avoid that.
I know it's just me being idle but as they said it was almost complete I thought "why not ask"

Need a bit of help. I can't for the life of me get any of the nxeart showing up. Basically when I load xexloader all the games icons are a green xbox360 icon and the screen on the top right is a green box.
All my games are located on a usb drive in a folder games\examplegame\ I can see a nxeart file for most of the games in this folder as well.
Running the newest XBR 8995.3a
What am I missing?

I don't know, but I've been wondering if I can extract the iso on the PC, patch the XEX files etc. and then put it back to a dual layer DVD and then use the normal dash 'Install to hard drive' if the games will then load from the dash.
I'd like not to have to use XEXloader at all and just run the games from the dash without the DVD in the drive.

I want to copy a bunch of xbla arcade games. Do I have to copy each one individually into the 00000000000 folder? Or can I put all of them in a 000000000000000 folder on my usb drive and then copy the folder? When I do that it asks me if I want to overwrite it. I do, but I want to keep everything else that is there already....
