Title: Xbmc On Xbox 360

Hi, I was just curious about something. I am trying to install XBMC on the xbox 360. When I load the XBE it goes to a black screen. Is there something with the XBE that only allows it to run on the XBOX1 for some reason?

the xbox 360 cannot run unsigned code, let alone xbox unsigned code. XBMC will not run on a 360 console.

My xbox 360 can, dude I'm not a noob..., Hints why I requested this in the XDK section.


Still looking for an answer. Anyone know?

so its a devkit, judging by the topic of yours i just replied in.

AFAIK, you still cant run XBMC. the .xbe requires emulation much like using an xbox original game on the 360

Thats odd, my friend has got unleash X to work on his kit. I wonder why that works.

Thats why its called emulation,it won't emulate everything.And yes alot of xbox 1 code will run on a 360 dev kit,but xbmc simply will not.If you really want xbmc on your dev grab the source code and start porting it over.
