Could you please let me know where i can buy debug kits for consoles? and what would be the prices like?

I have no idea. More than you would pay for a retail box and yes there would be alot of restrictions to getting one.

It depends on what you want to so, but your probally better off contacting the companies than posting here.

I suggest putting a "Wanted to Buy" post in the 360 BST forum.
Also search on eBay regularly (ie. every 1 or 2 days) for a Dev kit.
You may get lucky and see one listed. I doubt it will stay up for long so be quick.
Cant see MS, Sony, Nintendo supplying them to anyone not part of a confirmed game development team.

Your not supposed to have them, and yes, there is a restriction to own one if it wasn't GIVEN to you by the company (Microsoft). They should actually be destroyed. Anyhow, you can find one in the xbox BST thread every now and then, and your super lucky to find one on eBay. They do get priced higher too.
