Title: Conversion Programs Wont Disappear

i downloaded the wmc converter that convertsc  DivX etc, then i removed it and got a better program that does the job, but when i go to encode a movie the old options are still there: start/stop wmc, rewind, skip etc... i dont want them i just want the 1 that i recently installed, how do i get rid of them even if i uninstalled the program.

I think you have to remove them from the registry

I had the same problem with MCE Encoder.  I just did a search of the registry and removed all the entrys for MCE Encoder from here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MS\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Entry Points
