So i had installed a few games on my hdd a couple wks ago and then i used xport to transfer a game over but it crashed mid process. However i could tell space was still used on the hdd since it was quite a bit less and probably since xport allocates the space. I ended up formatting the drive which wasnt a big deal since i had 3 games on it.
Now though i have about 15 games and i stupidly used xport for a game and it did the same thing. I ended up using flash fxp to transfer the rest, but i want to make sure the folder size matches the actual size of the folder which is on my pc. I used fatxplorer but it doesnt seem to have that function. Freestyle or xexmenu doesnt either and i really dont want to format again to recover any possible last GBs.

I did the same on accident, and lost about 40gb of space (everything that was on it at the time). I reformatted as well, with the transferring I thought I lost all my gamer data, but I managed to create an "alternate" content folder, after having the system create a working content folder I transferred the data to it and back in business
