I made this application since I wanted to give the JTAG community the ability to use official tools and tools the lucky Devkit owners can have. I started coding in Early may 2010 and development got a bit slow due to many things; Exams, Busy with my Fiance, Reach Beta, Mapping Plugins for Reach, Other projects, Lazyness and other stuff. Also a huge problem of not being about to rig my dev up to be able to test and not having a JTAG so development of the browser was restricted to coding on friends computers VIA Teamviewer. Then the added bonus of the second i finish school and can really press on with coming, Micrsoft decided to Brick my Dev, so i had to go back to developing over Teamviewer.
But i managed to pull my finger out and deliver this application. I hope you enjoy it and i might be releasing more features and updates depending on if you guys want it and how busy i become with more advanced school over the next two years, Who knows?

***How to use!***

Step 1:
- Load up Freehood360.
Step 2:
- Load up your jtagged xbox 360 and load up xexmenu 1.x or Freestlye Dash
Step 3 (Only do this the first time, or when you need to add a new xbox.):
- Grab your IP adress from the config tag
- Double click Add Console and add the IP address (The username and pass will always be xbox)
- Name it and select JTAG (You can select Development if you are doing this with a development xbox 360)
- Click Add Console, it's all done.
Step 4:
- Double click on your console icon and then it will load the drive (dvd, usb, hdd1, hddx, flash. ect)

I get an error saying that "Make sure your Xbox 360 is powered on, Connected to the network and is in XeXMenu!"
- This is pretty strait forward, just check your connections ect.
I want to use this, but i don't want to connect to live by mistake!
- Simple, got to family settings and make sure that xbox live connection is forbidden.

This application was going to be fully open source, but since most people learn how to code from Open Source application code, i decided not to as the code is sloppy and not efficient (But does the job fine). Also the new community members that decide to ruin everything for everyone and might steal it, add a built in .ff editor for MW2 and sell it for a rediculious ammount of money. Since when was modding something people had to pay for? >.>

Try clicking in the textbox at the top and pressing Enter.
It sounds like a bug I thought I fixed.

It seems to have a problem on FSD. XeXMenu is fine.

Good idea to call it "freehood" and using the Neighborhood Icon, since people will think its something related to Debug-Stuff, but its only a FTP-Client.
Pretty useless.

- Wrong order for items in "add console" form, you cant tab in the right order
- No Accept/OK Button or anything else in "add console" form. You've to guess where it could be
- Can't connect to my box (ip is correct, ftp works fine)
- "check for updates" exit with a socket error message
Too bad its no real neighborhood which I expected first when I saw the topicname, it's just a FTP "gui"
But the look & feel is great.

No nothing of the sort my friend. Just gives you GUI access to your storage on the 360.
Ok so my problem is my system keeps rebooting (xbox360) after it gives me the "make sure your 360 is connected error" so it is trying to connect my server but causing it to crash. I think the reboots are just the new dashlaunch patch working it's majic instead of making the system hang , because it does that whenever I am trying things out that may or may not work like Oblivion mods.
I don't have any time to screw with this much but i did give it a try. I will try again when i see an update for it. I am definitely interested in this it would make transferring to my boxes easier than using filezilla.
I am in the same boat as Grim , I don't have 10 personal machines but i have more than that in my house at once, all Jtagged.

Pity , I would like to be able to compile my own .xex !! How do I go about it ?? - Without being rich? I already got ripped-off by M$'s XNA club! How hard could it be to set up a Devkit for JTAG boxes(flashed as devkit)??

Thats weird its loading the FTP listview and not clearing it. Shall be looked into. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that, there's really no point in your app, as no official tool (or clone) is involved, just ftp and not any other single tool.
XM360 does much more, I'll have to donate.

Fixed that haha, I coded the updater at like 4am so i didn't notice and i wasn't paying attention. I released an update, Check it out.

If you added some bells and whistles you would attract donations (assuming that the base worx 1st - and is relatively robust) There's plenty of source code and .dll's around now. It's not like every niche has been filled yet :-)

Alot of updates coming. Runs alot smoother, alot of Explorer addings. Generally, much better. Plus FSD and XP fixes
