That should help out the 5 people out there that use mac os.. Thinking about it do you think people who use mac os know what a iso image is?  jester.gif  I also use extract-xiso for linux, works a treat.

@JCDenton@AS : don't judge too quickly. Just because we dislike viruses, spyware and crashing OS's, doesn't mean we are quite proficient at modding and fixing consoles..

on topic :

Thanks for the effort ! smile.gif

Unfortunately the program instantly crashes on startup. (@JCDenton@AS : the PROGRAM crashes, not the OS smile.gif) Using it on an Intel iMac 24" with OSX 10.5.8.

edit : ok, seems you've been using Snow Leopard to do your builds : http://lists.apple.c...t/msg00518.html.
Any chance you'd make a version which doesn't require me to update from Leopard to Snow Leopard ? smile.gif

idog:  Thanks for giving it a try (and a crash dump too no less!).  Unfortunately, this was written for 10.6 from the beginning and I don't intent to back-port it unless I get a lot of requests to do so.  FWIW, the jump to Snow Leopard is worth it.  The next version of OSxiso360 will not attempt to run on anything lower than 10.6, so I'm marking that "bug" as fixed  smile.gif

hfmls:  You Windows people have plenty of tools that I will be spending my time porting to OS X.  No interest in doing it the other way around.  I am glad to see all the scene support for Linux, however.  Thanks to all that have contributed.

But if you made it for Leopard, then PPC G5s and such could also run this program. Those mac's will never run Snow. I'm not sure on how some programs are coded for Leopard that run equally on PPC/Intel macs, but I know there are quite a few, and I assume this program could be, as well.

Code that runs on PPC and Intel is called a Universal Binary.  Code that runs on 10.5 and 10.6 is restricted to using only the 10.5 SDK.  I'm using a number of 10.6 only methods for multi-threading, queueing, and file management.  None of them are impossible to do without so with enough interest in 10.5, I'll possibly rewrite to use the 10.5 SDK only.

I have noticed that the Auto Update keeps complaining that the version is not up to date yet it is.

1. I would really like to see native FTP'ing in your app, then I can ditch Parallels all together!

PS. How do you FTP now, if I may ask?

I have to go to Parallels and use FlashFXP every time sad.gif

Why not just dl an OS X FTP Client.

Transmit, Cyberduck etc

Thanks, I tried a few different ones that didn't work, "Fetch" actually crashed my xbox.

But, Transmit works great!

I will use that until we get ftp support in Osxiso360 biggrin.gif

This is great, but what can I use to burn on the mac now that iBurn and OSX360 are dead? I mean let's face it windows is dead, no one uses windows any more.  Toast 10 does not allow you to set a specific layer break point.

+1

Flash is the number 1 reason of browser hangs and crashes on my Mac.

I only use Windows when I have to.

Thanks so much in advance
