ISO2GOD v1.2.1
Posted by XanTium | February 27 18:19 EST | News Category: Xbox360

KrK / Team 360h released a new app called ISO2GOD, a PC app for converting Xbox 360 ISO images straight into Games on Demand containers.

What's new/fixed (since v1.1.3):
+ Right-click menu for conversion queue to allow for edit, removal and reset of FTP upload status. (v1.2.1)
~ Fix for minor bug in GOD container header. [Thanks Rab] (v1.2.1)
+ FTP support to automatically transfer GODs to 360 HD. (v1.2.0)
+ GODs given unique names so multi-disc titles can now be converted. (v1.2.0)
+ Option to automatically rename multi-disc titles. Eg: " Disc 1" (v1.2.0)
+ ISO conversions can now be edited by double clicking the entry in the queue. (v1.2.0)
+ Free disk space check. (v1.2.0)
~ Fix for bugs in GOD conversion code that caused games to fail. (See notes) (v1.2.0)
~ More details added to conversion queue. (v1.2.0)
~ Minor tweaks to the GUI. (v1.2.0)

Title: ISO2GOD v1.2.1

I am running Win7 64 bit.  I tried this new version with ME2 and when I try to load the 1st disc, I get this error:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Access is denied."

Now, I have tried everything.  Right-click and choose 'Run as Administrator'.  I tried stopping AVG.  All give me this same error.  Any help?  Thanks.

Add the path where iso2god is to AVG's Exception list in advance settings. wink.gif

I opened up AVG and went to Advanced Settings.  Went to the PUP Exceptions and added both iso2god.exe and xextool.exe.  Tried it again and get the same error as before and AVG still pops up and complains about xextool.exe.  Not sure why it's not working.

I am getting the same error as Hoops10. Also added xextool and iso2god to exceptions list and I get the same error. Why is xextool needed? It seems it is the root of all the errors.

Edit: Ok I solved the problem. Open AVG User Interface. At the overview tab double click on Resident Shield. On the bottom left click on Manage Exceptions. Now add the file path where iso2god and xextool are located. Resolved the issue for me.

Thanks for the updated program.

Remmnever:  Great call!  It worked like a charm.  Now, I put both ME2 isos and converted together.  In the 454108 (title id) folder, there is a 00007000 folder.  But in there, there a 2 folders and 2 files.  Do I just put the 454108 folder in the Content/0000000000000000 as it is or do I have to change anything because its a 2-disc game?

I know with agames (darksiders) when I set the Padding Removal to "Full ISO Rebuilt", it wouldn't run in NXE.  Has this been fixed in this release?

xextool is detected as a virus because of ASPROTECT which was used on the EXE, if you unpack the EXE its possible to make a xextool that isnt detected as a virus

Awesome release!

One thing I don't understand though is why there's no batch adding, i.e. "Add folder". I mean all the functionality is there (get png, name, add "Disc 1", unique names on multi-disc titles etc). Would make my life so much easier (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Edit:
Noticed a naming bug on two games:
Modern Warfare gets named "{c2}"
Modern Warfare 2 gets named "Playing Single Player in {c2}"
(Only tried 5 games so far)

I would like to know whats the point of supporting multi disc games cuz when its time to swap disc there's no way to make it work with GOD. Or am I just doing something wrong?

Try this method as posted in one of the previous ISO2GOD release threads.
