Also note that when you close the server it does not kill the process. It is a known bug.

Not yet, this is purely for developers at the moment, but we are looking into methods of injecting into already compiled XEXs.

I can't get this to work.
I put my Xbox's IP in the config file, run the server program on my PC, launch the executable, and it says that it failed to establish a connection.
Good work, though.
Try running the server as admin. If that doesn't work then join us on efnet, #XeLove

hosts ip would be the pc surely?
Correct.
QUOTE(Sascoo @ Feb 3 2010, 03:58 PM)

I was playing with this last night but I didn't have time to get the ATG or whatever to compile into my program.
I copied the xarial***.ttf file into the media folder.
Changed the host ip to the ip of my computer.
Copied whatever i wanted to debug to the debug folder.
Then I ftp all of that over to the root directory of my harddrive.
I am not sure if you also have to name whatever you want to debug to default.xex -- from a brief look at the XeDebug.cpp that's what it looks like.
Also note that when you close the server it does not kill the process. It is a known bug.
Yes the file must be named default.xex. This will be worked on in future releases, sorry about the process bug in the current release.
#XeLove efnet for more support since I doubt I'll have time to be posting here much.

just so you know how much interest there is, i would also be very interested in this (debugging of compiled apps/games).
i so miss the evox debugTSR...
thanks for all the effort up to this point, much appreciated.
QUOTE(jihaut @ Feb 5 2010, 07:27 PM)

Got the font in the right folder, the correct ip in the config file, and the Xedebug folder in the root of my HDD...
Yet when I try and use the xex it said 'game could not start' or when I try one straight from the debug folder I get 'disc is unreadable'
Any ideas?
EDIT:
Have tried HDD1 ROOT (Official Xbox HD)
and also an external at root. No luck :/
Can you normally launch the xex you wrote without the XeDebug? ... or is it the xedebug xex that will not load?

Their xex won't load; and yes I can normally use the xex.
